Financial Aid Summary (New Admits)
Overview
Your financial aid summary displays your eligibility for federal, state, and university aid. Most students receive a combination of grants, loans and Federal Work-Study.
Estimated Financial Aid Summary
Estimated financial aid summaries for Early Decision applicants are set to be released in December, while estimates for Early Action applicants are set to be released in February. Estimates are based on the cost of attendance for the current 2025-2026 academic year and will include the “estimate” watermark.
Financial aid summaries for Regular Decision admitted students will be released beginning on or before April 1 and will be based on the cost of attendance for the 2026-2027 academic year. At that time, Early Action and Early Decision students will receive revised financial aid summaries with the updated cost of attendance for the 2026-2027 academic year, which will no longer include the “estimate” watermark.
The financial aid review process is considered complete once a FAFSA, CSS Profile and supporting documentation have been received and reviewed.
You will be notified of your financial aid summary via email* after your financial aid file is complete. If you missed one or more deadlines, your financial aid eligibility may consist of only Federal Direct Loans.
You can track the status of your financial aid summary through your USC Financial Aid Summary and Tasks (FAST) portal.
Any future changes to your summary will be viewable online only.
*Newly Admitted Students: Until you certify your enrollment at USC, we will use the email address on file with your admission application. After you certify your enrollment (by submitting the Statement of Intent form and/or Enrollment Commitment), all notifications will be sent to your USC email address.
