Dates & Deadlines

Students are encouraged to meet all published deadlines to ensure they receive their funds by the tuition payment deadline each semester. Estimated disbursement dates for various types of financial aid are included in each section.

Please refer to the Office of Academic Records and Registrar for dates pertaining to the Spring 2018 semester.

2018-2019 Academic Year

June 2018
Apply for your 2018-2019 Direct Loan and/or Parent PLUS Loan.

July 2018
Fall 2018 charges and USC scholarships and grants begin posting to student billing accounts. You must meet all disbursement requirements and be registered for the fall 2018 semester.

August 10, 2018
Federal and state financial aid and/or loan funds begin posting to student billing accounts. You must meet all disbursement requirements and be registered for the fall 2018 semester.

August 15, 2018
Direct deposit of fall 2018 financial aid refunds begins for those whose financial aid exceeds their semester charges. Sign up for direct deposit.

August 17, 2018
Your fall 2018 student billing account must be paid in full to avoid late fees and finance charges. Monitor your account: Log in to OASIS or myUSC and select USCe.pay/Current Billing Balance.

August 17, 2018
Federal Work-Study Job Fair (1:00 – 3:30pm @ VKC Courtyard).

First day of fall 2018 semester classes.

August 24, 2018
Submit requested information by this date to be considered for USC Financial Aid before the Add Drop deadline. Failure to submit these documents by the deadline will result in the withdrawal of your USC financial aid application. You will receive only your eligibility for federal student aid.

September 7, 2018
Last day to add or drop classes without a grade of "W" for fall 2018 semester. Last day to opt out of tuition refund insurance and to waive the student health insurance.

October 1, 2018
FAFSA and CSS are released.

November 2018
Spring 2019 charges and USC scholarships and grants begin posting to student billing accounts. You must meet all disbursement requirements and be registered for the spring 2019 semester.
