Dates & Deadlines

Following these dates and deadlines will ensure timely receipt of any financial aid you may be eligible for.

May 11, 2017
Submit the FAFSA application to the federal processor and the online Enrollment and Housing Form to the Financial Aid Office.

June 2017
Apply for your 2017-2018 Direct Loan and/or Graduate PLUS Loan.

July 2017
Fall 2017 charges and USC scholarships and grants begin posting to student billing accounts. You must meet all disbursement requirements and be registered for the fall 2017 semester.

August 11, 2017
Federal and state financial aid and/or loans funds begin posting to your student billing accounts. You must meet all disbursement requirements and be registered for fall 2017 semester.

August 16, 2017
Direct deposit of fall 2017 financial aid refunds begins for those whose financial aid exceeds their semester charges. Sign up for direct deposit at sfs.usc.edu//refunds.

August 18, 2017
Your fall 2017 student billing account must be paid in full to avoid late fees and finance charges. Monitor your account: Log in to OASIS or myUSC and select USCe.pay/Current Billing Balance.

August 21, 2017
First day of fall 2017 semester classes (001 session).

September 8, 2017
Last day to add or drop classes in the general USC semester (001 session) without a grade of "W" for fall 2017 semester. If you are in a special session the last day to drop or add coursework and receive a full refund can be found by visiting classes.usc.edu. Locate each class and look under the info column for the calendar icon. A date will be listed under "Last day to drop without a mark of 'W' and receive a full refund."

November 2017
